"Art with Mark" Still Life Drawing

Come explore still life drawing with graphite, charcoal and pastels. All levels are welcome, from beginners to advanced. A new still life arrangement will be featured each week to spark inspiration and creativity. You may also draw from a collection of photographs provided. Instruction will be provided on an as-needed basis. This workshop is a great choice for those who want to learn about line, shape form, light, shade, composition, color and texture. There will also be various discussions about drawing materials and techniques.

In this ongoing class, each student works independently from their own photographs in their medium of choice. Subjects can be figurative, still life, animals and landscapes. Your instructor offers constructive feedback throughout class session demonstrating by example and or offering successful approaches in the development of each student’s work. A great class to fine tune your existing skills, learn new techniques and be creative. Beginner to advanced artists are welcome.
